Amanzi, Zulu for water, lives up to its name in every sense. The lush landscaping unfolds gracefully towards Pawna Lake, creating a sense of natural harmony that is rare to find. The staff carry a warmth that feels effortless, whilst the rooms are generous in size and impeccably maintained. The kitchen handles special dietary needs with real care, and the food is nothing short of a delight. 2 highlights that stayed with us long after checkout: the glass-bottomed pool in one of the villas, and the lake-facing lawns that bring the outdoors right to your doorstep.

Celebrating our anniversary here felt like the most natural choice, and the property delivered on every front. Surrounded by open skies, fresh air, and sweeping views of the lake and mountains, the setting alone is restorative. The all-inclusive meal plan means guests are free to simply settle in, with no need to search for outside dining or step away from the property. The food is generous, varied, and genuinely good. Rooms and bathrooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the staff bring a quiet attentiveness that makes every interaction feel easy and warm. 5-Star Warmth, Extra Mile Service

This is the kind of place that makes you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, the mountain and lake views are genuinely breathtaking, and the food sets a high bar that it consistently meets. What stood out most, however, was how thoughtfully the team handled our dietary needs. Vegan and gluten-free vegetarian requirements were met at every meal with a dedicated menu that was both inventive and delicious. The entire staff, without exception, were attentive, respectful, and kind. We left wishing we could stay longer, and we fully intend to return.
